I’m a fifth year computer science and engineering Ph.D. candidate at the University of Washington in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering. My focus is on the intersection of biology and computer science, using biology to do tasks traditionally done by computers.

I work in the Molecular Information Systems Lab (MISL) in close collaboration with Microsoft Research to make archival DNA data storage a reality. I have also collaborated with the Security and Privacy Research Lab to make DNA sequencing secure.
